Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style to The Cinema Snob, but she's more prone to morbidly enjoying dumb action flicks. After earning some recognition in the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) She began to write reviews in late 2009. She remained on the site until early 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was retooled into Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Also, she was on Brad Jones' movie Jesus Bro! She has also been a guest star on numerous episodes of his program Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax shows, as well sometimes adult-oriented films (including Baywatch (2017)). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to review movies, and began to gain a following on the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the group of film critics. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She used to be a member in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also be seen on numerous episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
