Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her debut as an amateur at the age of 18 in WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained confidence after the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her adversaries were defeated all by the start of the round. Then, she went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd took her fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her debut professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She won her fight via TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round in the second. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd won the fight in round one and received the Performance of the Night Prize. Her first fight of note came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after a great back-and forth fight between the two fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was beaten by a unanimous vote.
